The High Road Reserve 2006 Wine

Colour: The colour is a dark inky black centre with a dark red edge. The colour shows youth and the ability to age further.

Nose: The nose is tight and closed and shows subtle coffee and vanilla from the barrels. The fruit is there and shows huge potential however, the Merlot and Cabernet Franc are leading the nose at the moment with plum and dark chocolate. This is a big complex nose with huge intensity and depth.

Palate: The Palate is just gorgeous with huge ripe rich tannins and loads of fruit and intensity. The Palate lingers for ages on the mid and back palate and the complexity and depth is powerful as a Bordeaux should be - just outstanding. This wine has the potential to age for 15 years.
