The entire backrest and the inside arms are deep-buttoned. The back is the same height as the arms and, with the rounded bolster, looks attractive from every possible angle.

Harmonising with the back and arms, the front facings of the base have a hand pleated surface buttoning underneath the rolled edge supporting the loose seat cushion.
